Technical Area Sales Manager sought to join the District Heating division of an international manufacturer. This global company has 170 locations worldwide and supplies to a range of industries including construction, industrial and automotive industries.

They are looking for an experienced sales professional to generate new business for their pre-insulated district heating network business across London and the South East including Northern Home Counties, Essex, East Anglia.

As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving sales and profitability targets through financial, individual, KPI targets
  • Ensuring regular planning and reporting through the Company’s CRM system
  • Dealing with key decision makers within Specifiers, Mechanical & Civil Contractors, and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)

The successful Area Sales Manager will have the following key skills and experience:

  • Experience of selling insulated pipework, district heating products or similar HVAC products
  • Knowledge of Heat Interface Units or CHP, Heat Source pumps, Low Carbon Heating is advantageous
  • Experience of selling to Specifiers, Contractors and ESCOs
  • Technical sales experience is essential
  • A strong track record of building relationships with Contractors and supplying via wholesalers
  • Experienced in performing technical presentations
  • Good working knowledge of the district heating / heat network market
  • Well organised with a structured approach
  • Excellent communication skills
