Front End Developer sought by an independent software house based just outside Doncaster who provide web-based CMS platform solutions and support to the travel industry.
They’re looking for a talented Front End Developer to support the design, implementation and maintenance of client websites.
As a Front End Developer your responsibilities will include:
- Develop new websites with new and existing clients
- Maintain and update existing websites using common Adobe products and other web packages and applications
- Maintain client-side HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
- To support and train customers on using the Website CMS – built with .Net
- Attend exhibitions and involvement in company marketing
- To be involved in SEO solutions
- To work alongside design agencies to implement design projects
- To liaise with internal and external product developers
- Work closely with other product support personnel
- Liaise and attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development
The successful Front End Developer should have most of the following:
- Previous experience in a similar Front End Developer role
- Experience of designing commercial websites is desirable
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- SEO
- Adobe Creative Cloud and similar packages
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to use skills to research latest technologies to positively affect the business
- Knowledge of ASP.Net, C# and SQL are desirable but not essential
- Experience in the travel / tourism industry would be a bonus
