Customer Software Support Advisor sought by a leading, family-owned software provider based near Doncaster to own the end-to-end customer experience, from general software product queries through to providing first line technical support.

The Role:
As Customer Software Support Advisor you will deal with queries and requests through to completion, ensuring that the right solution is provided for customers in order to drive customer loyalty.

  • Deliver customer service to existing business customers via inbound calls and ticket enquiries
  • Offer technical support to handle and resolve any service issues that customers experience
  • Investigate and resolve product related issues
  • Identify opportunities within existing processes and make suggestions to improve customer interactions and processes
  • Communicate in a precise, articulate and professional manner with customers both written and orally, making sure that service is always delivered with a smile
  • Keep accurate and concise customer records
  • Investigate, solve or escalate technical issues and take ownership until resolution

The successful Customer Software Support Advisor will demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of working in a customer service, business to business environment
  • Ideally experienced in a technical or product support function, although training will be provided
  • Experience of using or supporting a bespoke software / application
  • Knowledge of and a basic understanding of SQL scripting
  • Competent technical knowledge of Microsoft software products and windows environment
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to listen to customer needs, understand them and deliver the right solution
  • Highly motivated and driven with the confidence to always do the right thing for the company and customers
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic, with a positive trainable attitude
  • Take ownership of your role and pride in your work
  • Ability to plan and manage own work load
  • Good attention to detail

  • £22,000 - £25,000 salary dependent on experience

£22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience + benefits
