Area Sales Manager sought by an international manufacturer of polymer solutions, supplying construction, industrial and automotive industries, to manage sales within the London region for their Building solutions division dealing with plumbing and heating , acoustic soil and waste and Underfloor heating department.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for generating new business (95%) and maintaining existing accounts (5%). As this is a new strategic role for the business it will initially be focused on building new relationships for the product portfolio for future business but the balance will change over time. This will be within the M25 region.
Your focus is to forge relationships for upcoming construction projects, specifically the multi occupancy sector , via existing and new M&E Contractors, Consultants, plumbers merchants and contractors by proposing company’s products for specification.
You will be promoting the client brand of Heating and Plumbing products (500 articles), Acoustic piping (c100 in range) & underfloor heating.
Minimal financial target in year 1 more around building the database of contacts and of opportunities and banking projects for future. Being able to sell value and quality and not price is a key attribute.
