An experienced IT Support Analyst is sought by one of the Midlands’ leading legal firms to join their busy Information Technology team based at their offices in Leamington Spa. This award-winning firm has been providing advice to their business and individual clients for nearly two centuries across a diverse range of sectors.

The role of the IT Support Analyst is to be responsible for providing full end user support for the organisation to support the ongoing use of the IT systems. The role will be developed into full system administrator across the full range of services in the firm.

Key duties: 

  • Day to day monitoring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, to ensure high availability of service to the firm and its staff
  • IT helpdesk support for the firm and its users including: back-end servers and services, end user computer hardware, software installations, configuration and ongoing maintenance.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, testing and ongoing upkeep of the Business Continuity Plan, which includes a Disaster Recovery strategy for the IT systems and services.
  • Help ensure IT infrastructure is maintained, monitored and patched up to the relevant versions, which may require out of hours work to avoid maintenance during core working hours.
  • Ensure the core end user compute build and software stack is maintained and patched where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure & Support Manager with regards to major project work, including; implementation of new infrastructure hardware/components, major software releases and user adoption of new products.

The successful IT Support Analyst will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an IT Support role
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant IT discipline would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious and hungry to learn


  • Up to £23,000 salary depending on experience
