A PPC Account Manager is sought by an international digital marketing agency to join their team in Leeds. They’ve won awards for the quality of their services which include SEO, PPC, digital marketing strategy, social media marketing and more. As their client base continues to grow they’re looking for an experienced Account Manager with technical knowledge and hands-on experience of PPC to set up, manage and optimise client PPC campaigns.

The Role:

Reporting to the Assistant Head of Paid Media, as PPC Account Manager, you will be given autonomy to determine how you manage your clients’ campaigns. Your day to day duties will include:

  • Taking ownership of a client portfolio, being first point-of-contact for all issues related to their accounts
  • Creating and managing paid search campaigns focusing on direct response and maximising ROI
  • Working on advertising platforms e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yandex, Baidu and Yahoo Japan
  • Continually growing and optimising accounts to deliver the best possible results
  • Working closely with clients to manage their expectations and deliver results aligned with their overall business goals and specific campaign objectives
  • Reporting to clients with detailed performance analysis, completed actions, recommendations and planned next steps
  • Attending and leading client meetings, delivering insights and strategic advice
  • Delegating work effectively to the PPC Executives and international team
  • Strategising and keeping an up-to-date plan for the activity on each account
  • Auditing internal and prospective external accounts to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Contributing to the company blog in accordance with company schedule
  • Keeping abreast of industry news and developments, and sharing knowledge via internal training and workshop sessions to contribute to company’s PPC offering

This role would suit an Account Manager looking for their next move, or an experienced Account Executive who is ready to make the step up into an Account Manager role.

The successful PPC Account Manager will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an Account Manager or Account Executive role within an agency
  • Experience of managing client PPC campaigns
  • Technical knowledge of PPC
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advertising platform experience e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yandex, Baidu, Yahoo Japan
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience of data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / VBA
  • Logical and data-driven mind
  • Strong spoken and written communication
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
