An experienced PHP Software Developer is sought by a by a highly successful automotive design and development agency based outside Leeds (commutable from Leeds, York, Hull, Scunthorpe, Pontefract etc).

This agency’s work can be viewed worldwide and with a client base that includes brands such as BMW, Honda, Mercedes and Ford this can offer a fantastic shop window for a Software Developer to showcase their work using the latest technologies.

As a Software Engineer you will help to plan, architect and build the company’s next generation web platform. This role would suit an experienced PHP Developer looking to move on to the stage next stage in their career working on a new, modern web application project while gaining experience in the latest web development tools.

The successful Software Engineer will ideally demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years commercial PHP development experience is a must
• MVC exposure, ideally Laravel or Lumen
• Good understanding on Object Orientated Programming principles
• Strong problem solving skills
• A degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Computing or Computer Science is beneficial but not essential
